CANTON -- On Oct. 15 Lee Willbanks, Executive Director for Save The River, will address the Environmental Management Council on a new water management plan.
According to Willbanks, “This is an important opportunity for Save The River to present evidence of how ‘Plan 2014’ will benefit St. Lawrence County residents, businesses, tourism, and hydropower production, while at the same time improve spawning areas for fish, nesting for migratory birds, and biodiversity in the region.
The Oct. 15 meeting of the Environmental Management Council will take place at 6 p.m. in the Board Chamber on the first floor of the County Courthouse, 48 Court Street, in Canton. The public is welcome to attend.
