St. Lawrence University junior midfielder Kara Pelosi was named to the first team Liberty League field hockey all star squad on Monday, while two other Saints earned honorable mention.
Pelosi led the Saints in scoring with 11 goals and four assists for 26 points and had two game winning goals. She scored three goals in a game twice during the season and had a goal in five of the last seven games. She has 16 goals and six assists in the last two seasons for the Saints.
Senior forward Erica French, who had two goals and four assists in 16 games and also scored two game winners and sophomore midfielder/back Carly Dziekan who had 10 defensive saves were named honorable mention all-league in voting by the coaches. Dziekan's 10 defensive saves rank second on the all-time SLU single season list.
