RUSSELL -- A Russell man was arrested after allegedly holding a family member down and striking the victim in the face during an domestic violence incident on Oct. 1, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Zachary J. Grimshaw, 34, was charged with second-degree harassment and second-degree unlawful imprisonment following the incident on Backus Road, officers said.
Grimshaw was charged Oct. 2, deputies said.
He allegedly held the victim down and did not allow them to move and struck them in the face with a closed fist.
He was arraigned in Canton court and released, deputies said.
An order of protection was issued in favor of the victim.
