Canton, NY – Robert Holliday, Jr. has been recognized on the D3hoops.com National Team of the Week after a strong performance in the Roos North Atlantic Conference (NAC) playoff game last weekend.
Holliday, Jr. posted game-highs of 24 points and six assists to go with six rebounds and four steals leading the Roos to an 85-63 win v. UMPI in the NAC quarterfinal. The junior had 18 of his points in the second half as the Roos outscored the Owls by 24 after intermission. Holliday, Jr. was perfect on two-point shots in the second half going 6-for-6 and finished 9-for-16 from the field and 5-for-6 from the free throw line in the contest. This is his sixth game this season with 20 or more points.
