Ronald James Crump, 78, formerly of Parishville

PARISHVILLE -- Ronald James Crump, 78 of Pelion, SC, formerly of Bradenton, Florida and originally from Parishville, New York, peacefully passed away at his home after a long battle with bladder cancer on Thursday, February 22, 2024.

Ronald was born in Potsdam, NY on April 6, 1945, to the late Florence (Shaw) and Ithiel Crump.

After graduation from Parishville-Hopkinton Central School in 1963 he married Anna Tebo in 1964 which later ended in divorce.

In 1975 he married Donna Annis whom he spent 29 years with and Donna sadly predeceased him in 2004.

Ronald was also predeceased by some of his siblings: Rutherford Crump, Lorraine and Richard Burnett, and Gary and Wynona Crump.

Ronald worked as a lumberjack and busdriver for several decades before moving to Bradenton Florida where he worked several years in the payroll department prior to his retirement.

Ronald is survived by his sister, Mary Jane McDonald; sister-in-law, Diane Crump; his daughters, Jaime (Robert) Taylor, Christina Crump (Lawrence Cordwell), Tamie (Michael) Stacy; his son, Ronald Crump Jr; grandchildren, Brandon, Jordan, Mikey, Jenna, Ben, Richard, and Johnathon; great-grandchildren, Roman, Audrey, Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a wonderful father who was very much loved and will be greatly missed by his children and grandchildren.
