OGDENSBURG — The Frederic Remington Art Museum is excited to invite the community to the next family art program, Family Fun-day Sunday, on Sunday, March 17 from 1-4pm. Families and children of all ages are invited to play, explore, and create together two doors down from the Museum at the Eva Caten Remington Education Center (affectionately known as Kid’s Place, after Eva Remington, whom Fred nicknamed ‘Kid’) at 323 Washington Street, Ogdensburg. Family Fun-day Sunday will take place from 1-4pm with a family-friendly art-making workshop at 2pm. This program is free and open to the public, though donations are always welcome. After the March 17th program, Family Fun-day Sunday will take place the last Sunday of every month starting in April.

At Kid’s Place you will find a beautiful, large imaginative play area (complete with a life-size horse, “Rusty”), a kids’ art studio where children of all ages can explore various mediums and art-making techniques, and many different interactive stations throughout Kid’s Place that will spark the imagination.

In addition to free play and art-making throughout the day, there will also be a special art workshop where kids can create their own landscape mosaics that afternoon at 2:00 pm. This program is free and open to the public, no registration is required.
