CANTON – Raquette Valley Habitat for Humanity will hold a "re-use" sale Friday, Aug. 12 from noon to 6 p.m. at St. Mary’s School Gym, Court and Powers streets.
The group will empty their storage trailer of unused construction materials and sell them at very low prices. Tax deductible donations of new or like-new lumber and building supplies are also wanted for this sale, including: tools, light fixtures, cabinetry, countertops, plumbing supplies, etc.
Donations will be screened for quality and likelihood for quick sale. All proceeds will be used to build local habitat houses.
