MALONE - Country music star Randy Travis, American Idol runner-up Crystal Bowersox, midway rides, a demolition derby and a rodeo are just a few of the long list of events at the 2011 Franklin County Fair Saturday, Aug. 6 through Sunday, Aug. 14.
Season tickets for all nine days are $40. Admission on Aug. 6, 8, 9 and 11 is $8. Aug. 7 and 13 is $12. Aug. 10 and 14 is $15. Parking on the grounds is $3. Children 12 and under are admitted free all week. Grandstand is free with admission ticket. For more information, call 518-483-0720.

This year's highlights include:
• Saturday, Aug. 6: Demolition Derby, 5 p.m.
• Sunday, Aug. 7: Neal McCoy, 6:30 p.m., the one-of-a kind country singer and consummate live performer will perform hits such as "No Doubt About It" and "Wink."
• Monday, Aug. 8: Demolition Derby finals, 6 p.m.
• Tuesday, Aug. 9: Annual Truck and Tractor Pull, 1 p.m.
• Wednesday, Aug. 10: Phil Dirt presents: Surf's Up! A Tribute to the Beachboys, 7:30 p.m. The nation's hottest and best beach party band with over 20 years of performing experience.
• Thursday, Aug. 11: Hometown Parade 7 p.m. at the grandstand; Franklin County Has Talent 7:30 p.m., talent show.
• Friday, Aug. 12: Randy Travis, 7:30 p.m., opening act Mallary Hope 7 p.m. Among Travis' 18 No. 1 hits are "I Told You So," "Forever and Ever Amen" and "Three Wooden Crosses."• Saturday, Aug. 13: Crystal Bowersox, 7:30 p.m., opening act Mallary Hope 7 p.m. Crystal's emotive folk-rock-country style was share with millions of homes across America when she placed second on last year's season of American Idol.
• Sunday, Aug. 14: Painted Pony Rodeo, 4 p.m., the largest professional rodeo company in the state.
