The staff and administration at Seaway Career & Technical Education Center in Norwood have announced the selection of Thomas Ramsdell as the Potsdam Rotary Club/Seaway Career & Technical Education Center Student of the Month for March 2011.
Thomas, who is enrolled in the Auto Technology Program, is also a student at SLC.
He is the son of Craig & Elizabeth Ramsdell.
In the Auto Technology program, Thomas is involved in computer diagnosis, drive train maintenance and overhaul, suspension systems diagnosis and repair, and brake systems repair.
Thomas will be eligible for a two year Certificate of Employability upon completion of the course and will be going to work at Blevins Seaway Motors as an entry level technician.
Mr. Ells, Auto Technology instructor, says, “Thomas is a very enthusiastic student with a strong desire to achieve excellence on all the jobs in the shop. His commitment to excellence will be a strong asset to any work environment he decides to go into.”
