CANTON -- A “Purple People Fun Night” with free sports activities and a kids’ corner will be held Friday, Sept. 13 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the SUNY Canton Roos’ House.
Activities sponsored by the “Forget-Me-Knots” will include ice-skating, batting cages, an open swim, basketball and tennis. Zumba and spinning classes will also be offered.
Roody the Roo will pose for pictures, and a “Kids’ Corner” will have crafts.
Wear purple to show support for Alzheimer’s research.
Donations will be accepted and a 50/50 raffle will be held, with the proceeds to benefit research.
