POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Castle Drive, will hold a Preparedness Seminar Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be various exhibits to increase proper education preparedness.
Presenters include the Potsdam police, rescue squad, Ron Healy, survival techniques author, Irene Burnett, gluten allergy researcher, and Chapman Farms, who will instruct how to can meat.
Other presenters include Alice Stevens, who will cover 96-hour survival packs with kid and pet considerations; LDS Missionaries, spiritual preparedness, Ryan Garfield, medical preparedness, and more.
Light refreshments will be served.
