POTSDAM -- The Congregation Beth El will host its 38th Food Festival Sunday, Dec. 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the synagogue, 81 Market St.
The main floor of the temple will serve as a bakery and gift shop. The bakery features fresh breads and challah for purchase from Montreal, as well as mouth-watering home baked delicacies.
The gift shop has a variety of Hanukkah items such as candles, dreidels, menorahs, decorations and jewelry.
Also available will be gifts for adults and children of all ages.
Lunch will be served buffet-style, where there will be holiday goodies such as traditional latkes and blintzes, bagels and cream cheese, soup with matzo balls, hummus, potato knishes, falafel in pita and kugel.
There will be New York style cheesecake and other delectable treats for dessert.
