The citation reads in part, ”The Clerk of the Year Award is being presented to an individual whose dedication and performance professionally, to her residents, the associations and organizations with which she has been involved, and to her peers has been unwavering. Her knowledge and experience has been an asset to her village's administration.”
The association noted Queor’s 25 years' experience in local government, her dedication to continued professional education, and he involvement with professional associations.
“Perhaps the best way to summarize her outstanding success,” the citation continued, “are in the words of her own Village Administrator who, when discussing the challenges of local government, stated ‘throughout it all -- the good, and the bad -- she has remained diligent and steadfast to the people and the administration for which she serves."
Queor has been the village clerk/treasurer since 2002.
