POTSDAM – A Potsdam resident is accused of assault and criminal mischief in an incident at the Bay Street house where he lives.
Ryan C. Wentz, 22, whose address is listed as North Tonawanda, was charged after Potsdam police received a complaint of an assault at 5:52 a.m. Sunday.
Their investigation led to charges of third-degree assault, and of two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief after they found he had also damaged two doors in the apartment, according to police.
Wentz was arraigned by Hon. Nicholas Pignone and released on his own recognizance with an order of protection.
