POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Interfaith Community presents "Genealogy 101: Discovering Your Roots" with Jeffrey Francom from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The first of two online sessions will take place on Saturday, May 30, from 10-11:30 a.m.
In the first session, participants will be introduced to important online genealogical resources, create free accounts on FamilySearch.org, and begin the process of compiling information and collaborating with distant relatives.
In the second session, participants will share personal discoveries and any questions that arose, and learn about additional 19th and 20th century genealogical resources.
All sessions will be held via Zoom and are free to the public.
