POTSDAM – The newly opened Halo Salon has a new owner from Waddington.
Amanda Putney took over the salon in January, and is offering a full range of services for men, women and children, including cuts, highlights, color, balayage, waxing and more.
Putney trained at the Mitchell Academy in Raleigh, NC, with more than 1,500 course hours, with experiences and award winning instructors.
“I attended the Mitchell Academy because I have a true passion for hair, and I knew I would receive hands on experience and guidance throughout my time there,” said Putney. “Since moving back to the North Country I have worked the past six months in a salon here, but with the goal to always be able to obtain creative freedom and own my own space, which I now have with Halo.”
To schedule an appointment at the new Halo, call 315-600-6183, with hours Monday through Saturday.
