POTSDAM – The Potsdam Food Co-op is holding its 16th annual Baking Fest and Silent Auction Dec. 8 from noon to 3 p.m. in the Carriage House, behind the co-op. Enter by baking two of a favorite treat in one of the following categories: cookies, desserts, special diet, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, or diabetic-friendly, and savory.
The treats will be divided for sampling and silently voted on by those who attend the event, and the other will be displayed in the “auction showcase” for bidding.
The highest silent bidder wins the treat in the auction and the baker with the most votes in each of the four categories, wins a $25 Good Food Gift Card from the Co-op. All proceeds will be donated to the Potsdam Neighborhood Center.
To registration or for information visit the Co-op at 24 Elm St., visit www.potsdamcoop.com, or contact Lynn at 265-4630 or \lynn@potsdamcoop.com.
