POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Food Co-op, 24 Elm St., will be celebrate 39 years in the North Country at its annual Open House Saturday, Sept. 15 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
A “Passing the Baguette” ceremony at 3 p.m. will welcome new General Manager Eric Jesner and honor outgoing General Manager Bob Josephson. Anyone interested in learning more about the Co-op is encouraged to attend. A 10 percent off sale will be held throughout the day.
Food samples will be available. The 1844 House Restaurant and St. Lawrence Valley Roasters will serve food and beverages.
Children's activities will begin at 11:30 a.m. A variety of music will be provided throughout the day by local bands Animal Crackers, Caramelo and others.
