A few weeks back I lost a brand new snow tire to a pothole on Pierrepont Avenue I am fairly certain that I am now the only one to have had damage from that spot. Somehow, I don’t see the village board seeing their way to covering the cost of the tire to any of us. Perhaps if our very well educated board had done a better job with that money pit of a hydropower dam, which Clarkson and NYPA were so kind to take off our hands we wouldn’t have to wait for state funding. I guess it worked out well for Clarkson and NYPA, not so much for the hardworking taxpayers of Potsdam.
