Jacob J. Ward, 22, was charged with aggravated DWI Sept. 24 at 9:20 a.m. in Lisbon, according to the Ogdensburg Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit.
The accident killed Julie A. Adams, 47, Ogdensburg, officers said. She and the passenger in the other vehicle are sisters, Ogdensburg police confirmed.
Investigation revealed both parties were intoxicated at the time of the accident and the deceased, Adams, was ultimately who caused the accident, police said.
