How is mere police presence “bullying?” You forget they are here to “serve and protect.” You also seem to forget that St. Lawrence County is on an international border, one which is very porous, and subject to a lot of smuggling. Have you been to Northern Jefferson County? There’s quite a bit of police presence in towns along the river there. Quit complaining and enjoy the safe world you live in.
