To the Editor:
This is written to thank the kind gentleman who stopped Sunday morning, Jan. 4, on Market Street to help me dig out my car, which was stuck in the driveway entrance, before it froze into place.
After a bit, a police car pulled up and an officer took my shovel and helped to finish the job. I am most grateful to both of these nameless good Samaritans. They even returned the shovel to my garage as I drove off to church.
I frequently have causes to be grateful for the kindness I find in Potsdam and the North County generally.
