Wilkes-Barre, PA – In Saturday afternoon's contest six Roos scored with nine tallying one point or more. Jessica Pele tallied three points while Noelle Niemiec, Lily Cullen, and Sarah Kosnaskie each added two in the Roos victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Roos took 27 shots, with 19 of them on goal, during the first but the period ended with a 0-0 score.
Wilkes struck first in the second, but the Roos quickly responded with a Hannah Brady goal, assisted by Debbie Bartosova and Niemiec.
A Pele goal gave the Roos the lead, and less than a minute later, Niemiec netted one of her own to bring the score to 3-1.
Wilkes found the net at the end of the second period, but the Roos struck back right away on a Kosnaskie goal just thirty seconds into the third period.
Breanna Bedborough and Cullen scored later in the third, bringing the score to 6-2.
Pele finished the day with three points, while goalie Brooke Susac aided the Roos efforts with 16 saves.
WHAT'S NEXT
The women's hockey team returns to the ice for a home weekend series next Friday and Saturday v. Sacred Heart University at 4 and 1 p.m., respectively.
