POTSDAM -- Peak Moment TV, WCKN, Time Warner Digital Channel 30, host Janaia Donaldson will discuss how Sharing Gardens coordinators Chris Burns and Llyn Peabody run their community garden project March 31 and April 1 at 7 p.m.
“We’re enjoying the abundance and the feeling of richness and generosity along with everybody else,” they say.
During this five-year experiment in the giving economy, the garden has tripled in size. Sharegivers (volunteers) of all ages work in the gardens.
They share the harvest with food bank recipients, churches, gleaners and others in their community.
No money is exchanged. Materials and labor, and even use of the property, are freely given and showing up in abundance.
Peak Moment programs are available at www.wordpress.peakmoment.tv/conversations/ in both video and audio format.
