PARISHVILLE -- A jar of honey, a cutting board, jams, preserves, wine and more were in the Parishville-Hopkinton Teacher’s Association “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” basket that was auctioned off at the New York State United Teachers North Country Leadership Conference in Lake Placid in October.
The “Handmade and Homemade” basket contained locally crafted items that were created or donated by teachers and staff at Parishville-Hopkinton Central School.
These donations help the American Cancer Society's fight against breast cancer.
