POTSDAM -- "Organic Gardening Planning & Practices" will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, from 1 to 3 p.m. at 11 Needham Rd. as part of the Local Living Venture’s year-round Resourceful Living Skills Workshop program.
The event features Daniel Martin of Martin's Needham Road Farm Stand, sharing his techniques and strategies for a successful garden. Martin will cover the basics of tilling, harvest, cover cropping and much more to prepare gardeners for the upcoming winter planning season.
In addition to their farm stand, the Martin's established an innovative online market to offer their customers another option in finding fresh, locally grown produce. It can be viewed at martinsfarmstand.locallygrown.net/.
