To the Editor:
In response to “COVID Has Not Stripped Any Rights, Freedoms Away,” which appeared in the March 26- April 1 issue of North Country This Week: Thank you Ms. Adams for her response to the March 19 opinion piece “Reject the Lie, Refuse to Die, We Will Not Comply.”
I also was appalled by this and the previous letter regarding this matter. I question where she is getting her information from.
No one is forcing knowledge on anyone, but apparently this person does opt have a television or read a newspaper regarding this deadly disease.
We are advised, but not forced to follow safe distancing, and wearing of masks. We do so to prevent catching this deadly disease and to prevent others from catching it when exposed.
It is people who unknowingly are exposed to COVID and do not know it that transmit the disease, as per Dr. Fauci.
We still have our Freedom Speech and thought, but we choose to follow advice of those more knowledgeable than we; that this needs to be controlled. We accept the truth to live, we will comply.
