To the Editor:
Local elections aren’t sexy or fun. They shouldn’t be dramatic. But, local elections are the ones that affect our lives.
As we head into the November elections, Canton voters have the opportunity to choose leaders who have proven their dedication to our community. The Canton Town Board has moved our community forward through their integrity, transparency, and positivity.
Over the last three years, the Town Board has improved Canton’s financial security, passed meaningful legislation, increased partnerships through sharing services, and expanded opportunities for growth through successful planning and grant funding. These are big accomplishments that happened through hard work, community input, and collaboration.
Please join me in voting for Mary Ann Ashley, Jim Smith, Martha Foley Smith, and David Nelson for Canton Town Board. We deserve to be represented by thoughtful leaders who will work together to make our community more vibrant, create opportunities out of challenges, and continue to make us proud.
