To the Editor:
The recent talks of dissolving the Village of Morristown do not address the real issue. We cannot put a Band-Aid on a gaping wound and expect not to bleed to death.
We’re the highest taxed state in America (no surprise 200,000 people leave NY per year). It seems everyone is afraid of the elephant in the room. This elephant is progressive socialist Cuomo, the progressive socialist Assembly and the mostly progressive socialist Senate.
When New York’s electorate awakens maybe this state can make meaningful change. So far, the electorate has not held these fake representatives accountable. The path these fakes are taking us down is unsustainable.
Eventually you run out of other people’s money…or people. The Cuomo Progressive Socialist mantra will continually tax and spend us into oblivion. So, until we address the real issues dissolving villages is only a Band-Aid the state is pushing. DANC is a biased state appointed sheep herder.
To rely on their misinformation for solutions is certainly misguided. Until we begin flushing the Progressive Socialist fake representatives out of Albany expect more of the same. Give Progressive Andy another four years and the state debt will double and unfunded state mandates will only increase along with your taxes. It is a vicious cycle that must be broken not enabled.
I suggest those in the village that claim to be saving thousands step forward and pay the 6% increase for those in the town. I will never ever vote for tax increase of any kind. Those in the Town of Morristown must ban together and vote to defeat the projected 6 percent (likely to be higher) tax increase.
Those bowing to the will of government always lose. Why does Progressive Andy want to shift his (NY) high-tax burdens onto federal taxpayers of other fiscally responsible states? Progressive Andy should instead focus on reducing the highest in the nation taxes he charges New York residents.
Freedom and liberty should not bow to government! Government should bow to freedom and liberty!
