To the Editor:
As a town supervisor myself, I have viewed Mary Ann Ashley through the eyes of someone who is dealing with many of the same experiences and challenges. Mary Ann is intelligent and highly-knowledgeable.
She is a leader among supervisors and maintains a constant enthusiasm to learn more and do even better. Mary Ann has discussed with me topics that towns are facing from broadband access to negotiations issues to sales tax concerns.
We conversed about the many complications that arose last year with the onset of the pandemic. She has shared her knowledge on labor relations issues, budgetary matters and much more. Her work ethic is impressive. She never seems to tire.
I’ve often thought that voters in the Town of Canton made a great choice when they voted Mary Ann into office.
She is an accomplished supervisor and deserves to be elected again. On a personal note, I cannot meet with Mary Ann or have a phone conversation with her without sharing many laughs. She is a joyful person and that matters, too.
