In response to Letter to Editor - Switch from animal agriculture to plant-based, says Potsdam man (Nov. 18).
If we look through the history of lab created, factory made foods (thank you corporate America) we see that human health has suffered.
Degenerative diseases are certainly encouraged by unnatural foods. In 20-30 years we will see the disease fall out of lab created meats and then the back paddling will begin.
Regenerative agriculture that support environmental health requires animals on the land. I encourage people to look into the balance of ecosystems requiring the interaction of all species not just plants.
Perhaps if we instead embraced Nature and returned to living within the cycles of Nature, the whole planet would be better nourished.
