To the Editor:
As we head to November and field complaints of sign vandalism, sign theft, or sign relocation, the three Chairs of the St. Lawrence County Republican, Conservative, and Democratic Committees respectfully ask that political yard signs be left alone.
You may think you are helping your preferred candidate, but the removal, blocking, or tampering with political signs is an act aimed at suppressing Free Speech, a right guaranteed by the Constitution and one which we as Americans cherish, regardless of political party.
