Yes, The State of New York and federal governments war on the citizens of this state/ country with the “war” on marijuana.
Marijuana has many medical benefits as (cocaine, and heroin) do also. So, why are these low cost effective drugs are illegal you ask? Because, they are competition to “big drug” companies, that donate/give gifts to our elected servants that pass laws making the mentioned drugs illegal -- which drives up the price of these drugs.
This causes gang wars (many innocent children have been killed in gangland shoot outs); the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) reports near 75 percent of gun murders are gang related. Making marijuana illegal, driving addicts to more dangerous drugs, easier to transport/ make like prescription pain killers and methamphetamine are causing more problems and deaths.
The government allows people to use the deadly drugs of alcohol and tobacco as long you pay the tax.
When, I mention marijuana I refer to natural marijuana, not any pending genetically modified marijuana crop.
