GardenShare would like to thank everyone who participated in our 2nd Annual Fight Hunger Fair & 5K in the Canton Village Green on Sunday, Sept. 17. Thanks to your generous support we were able to raise over $16,000 to support our programs to ensure food security for all St. Lawrence County residents.

We wouldn’t be able to do this without all of you so thank you, once again, for reminding us how important this organization is to our community. Special thanks to everyone that helped make this event happen including our over 140 attendees, dedicated volunteers, and sponsors. In addition we want to acknowledge John Bonaparte one more time as the recipient of the 2023 Growing Community Award for his outsized impact in the local agricultural community.

This event was brought to you in part by our generous sponsors: Corning Foundation, Stauffer Farms, Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield, TJ Toyota, Stewart's Shops, Brookfield, NuMed, One Steep Tea, Atlantic Testing Laboratories, Bill Rapp Chevrolet Buick of Ogdensburg, Casella Waste Management of NY, Cooper Electric, Community Bank, S&L Electric Inc., Five Elements Living, SeaComm, Potsdam Specialty Paper Inc., Save A Lot, Sandstone Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, CDPHP, and J C Merriman.
