To the Editor:
Don’t be fooled by continued North Country for a Brighter Future propaganda. The Hopkinton Town Board has agreed to vote on a protective wind law.
Frankly, that is their job. What Iberdrola does within the scope of our law will be up to them. Our town board was elected to protect the citizens of Hopkinton.
The proposed law and wind overlay zone, a compromise on both sides, will do just that. Thank you to the Hopkinton Wind Advisory Board and the responsible town board members who have devoted a tremendous amount of time in researching and developing the proposed wind law and overlay zone that does not expand South of State Route 72.
Thank you to the citizens who continue to attend town board meetings as well as the recent public hearing and for showing your overwhelming support of the proposed wind law. Your concerns matter.
