OGDENSBURG -- In honor of Memorial Day, Julie Hynes’ third-grade class at Kennedy School, along with K-12 Business Teacher Ryan Farrell, gave tribute to veterans who reside on the United Helpers RiverLedge campus.
“Our Veterans loved sharing their stories and singing songs with the students,” said Larry Worden, Activities Director.
The class worked very hard with Mr. Farrell making signs, cropping pictures, and designing cards for the residents.
Students at Kennedy School are involved in two technology projects a year, but this project was unique in that it incorporated both technology and social studies into one project.
“The students were very excited about doing this project,” said Farrell.
