HEUVELTON -- An Ogdensburg man is jailed after allegedly striking someone in the head with a chair.
Brandon C. Gage, 23, of Patterson St. is charged with felony second-degree assault and misdemeanors of fourth-degree criminal mischief and child endangerment.
St. Lawrence County Sheriff deputies say Gage broke an interior and exterior door at a residence, the address of which was not contained in a news release, and struck a male in the head with a wooden chair. They did not identify the alleged victim beyond stating his gender.
The alleged victim was taken to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center for treatment.
Gage was arraigned in Oswegatchie Town Court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, Canton in lieu of $2,000 bail with an order of protection issued on behalf of the alleged victim, deputies said.
