Assistant Fire Chief Kenneth Stull rappels on the side of the bridge to install the new sign.
OGDENSBURG -- The City of Ogdensburg's Parks and Recreation Department and City Fire Department has installed two "No Wake" signs at the Lake Street Pedestrian Bridge on the Maple City Trail.
City officials say the "No Wake" signs were installed to provide boaters and other visitors a safe environment for recreational opportunities on the rivers.
"This will provide safer boat fishing conditions, safer passage in this area of increased boat traffic, and decrease the risk of erosion and damage to the shore," the release says.
