OGDENSBURG — The Frederic Remington Art Museum recently received a donation from Stewart’s Shops annual education fundraiser Classic Golf Tournament which was held in August.
The proceeds from the tournament benefit the museum’s education programming at the Eva Caten Remington Education Center (ECREC.)
"Due to the generous support of Stewart's Shops and others, we are able to offer diverse programming from middle school age students with Art Club to Family Fridays in August," says Executive Director Laura Foster. "Stewart's Shops funding helps us developed quality, missioned based offerings for kids of all ages, and we are extremely grateful."
The Frederic Remington Art Museum is located at 303 Washington St., Ogdensburg. The Museum is open Oct. 15 - May 15, Wednesday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m. and May 16 - Oct. 14, Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.
