OGDENSBURG – An Ogdensburg man who was arrested this morning for failing to register a change of address as a sex offender was allegedly found in possession of crack cocaine and Oxycontin with intent to sell, according to St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Deputies.
Nathan D. Binion, 31, 111 South Water St., Ogdensburg, was charged with failure to register a change of address as a Level 3 sex offender, a class E felony.
He was also charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, a class B felony.
Deputies report, when they took Binion into custody on the sex offender registry charge, they found the drugs packaged with the intent to sell in his possession, along with U.S. currency.
Binion was arraigned in Ogdensburg City Court by Judge William Small and was held without bail due to his past criminal history. He is due back in city court on June 14.
Sheriff's deputies were assisted by the Ogdensburg City Police Drug Task Force members.
