OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg Kiwanis Club will host a visit by Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus at a fundraising event Tuesday, Dec. 19, at the McDonald’s on Paterson Street to benefit its youth programs.
“Have dinner with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus and help celebrate the holiday season,” said Past Kiwanis President John Pinkerton. Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be in attendance at 6 p.m.
The event will benefit Kiwanis Youth Baseball, Youth Soccer, The Ogdensburg Free Academy Key Club, Ogdensburg Builders Club, K-Kids, high school scholarships, First Book, the Montroy Athletic Complex, and a variety of other charitable programs aimed at helping the area’s youth.
McDonald’s will donate a percentage of the profits made from 5 to 9 p.m. Members of the Kiwanis, Key Club and Builders Clubs will be helping Santa and Mrs. Claus.
