Three St. Lawrence County teams placed in the top four at The Northern New York Bassmasters opened their 2013 team trail season on Lake Champlain.
About 60 anglers competed in the tournament and weighed in over 329 lbs of largemouth and smallmouth bass, which were all released.
First place went to Bruce Lamite and Joey Dufrane, of Malone, with 16.51 lbs. In second were Tim Ogrady and Steve Garrabrant, of Ogdensburg, with 16.03 lbs.
Third place went to Brad Paradis and Robert Paradis, of Ogdensburg with 15.94 lbs. In fourth place were Chuck Roach and Chris Roach, of Heuvelton with 15.11 lbs. The “Lunker” was caught by the Team Frost-Lavalle with a 5.53 lb smallmouth.
