OGDENSBURG -- The annual meeting of the Ogdensburg GreenMarket will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 4:30 p.m. at the Dobisky Visitor’s Center, 100 Riverside Ave.
As the market plans another season they are looking for vendors and customers to help grow the market. Last season the market moved the Wednesday market to the corner of Linden Street and Rt. 38. The market moved inside the Presbyterian Church in October to extend the season through mid-December.
To build a strong and successful market, they want to increase the numbers of vendors. Vendors at the market say that when there seven or ten or more booths set up, every vendor has a better day. Customers naturally gravitate to a busy market. Occasional vendors, plant growers, artist and crafters are invited to explore their role in the Ogdensburg GreenMarket.
If you are a vendor, are thinking about becoming a vendor or a customer, you are welcome at this informational meeting. Your ideas and comments will be welcome. And they welcome new vendors, and are always willing to answer any questions you may have.
For more information, attend the Tuesday meeting or call Sandy Porter, Market Manager at the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce office at 393-3620
