OGDENSBURG – The Ogdensburg City School District recognized the contributions of the Ogdensburg International Seaway Festival Committee and volunteer wrestling coach Ricky Ledwith with the 2017 Annual Civic Award at Monday’s Board of Education meeting.
Committee Chairman Christopher Cole accepted the award on behalf of the Seaway Festival Committee, which the district recognized for “its continued hard work and dedication to organize and sponsor the numerous events and activities for Ogdensburg’s week long Seaway Festival.
Ledwith, who has been a volunteer coach for the Ogdensburg Youth Wrestling Program for 25 years, was also present to accept his award.
