OGDENSBURG -- Ogdensburg City Council agreed to hold several public hearings Oct. 13 Tuesday, following a brief tribute to honor a city councilor's wife who passed away unexpectedly.
A special meeting was held Tuesday, after Monday’s meeting was cancelled due to the unexpected death of City Councilor Daniel Skamperle’s wife Suzanne.
Lawmakers held a brief moment of silence in her memory. Her obituary is here.
City council agreed to set public hearings for the sale of two-city owned properties. The properties are located at 16 Rensselaer Avenue and 1110 South Water Street.
The city council will also host public hearings regarding the addition of several handicapped parking spaces at several locations and a law that would prohibit parking near Lafayette and Paterson streets.
