OGDENSBURG – Eighth-grader Gavin LaMay is the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce December OFA Student of the Month.
Gavin is a high honors student and is taking advanced courses. He is involved in soccer, track and Builder’s Club. He is also a WEB Leader (Where Everyone Belongs).
Gavin enjoys collecting antiques. He taught himself to play the guitar.
Gavin has also volunteered his time in the community by cleaning the grave sites of military men and women.
“He is always polite and kind. He cares greatly about the quality of his work. Gavin has a positive attitude that is demonstrated in everything that he does,” said OFA Guidance Counselor Kathy Verville.
Gavin received a certificate from OFA, a Chamber Dollars check sponsored by Ed-Med Federal Credit Union, and a plaque from the Ogdensburg Chamber.
