NORWOOD — Two Norwood-Norfolk Central students were recognized for their efforts helping an injured child at Titus Mountain.
Recently, on a Ski Club trip to Titus Mountain, Hailey Monica, a senior, and Liam Miller-Lynch, a sophomore, encountered an injured child while skiing.
Although they did not know the child, Monica skied down the mountain to get first aid help while Miller-Lynch stayed with them, wrapping the child in his own winter coat to keep the person warm.
