NORWOOD – The school board at Norwood-Norfolk Central approved tenure, and a slew of appointments as its Tuesday night meeting.
Tenure was awarded effective Sept. 1, 2021 to: Jonathan Pabis, music teacher; Margaret Sullivan, English language arts teacher; Harold (Joe) Bullock, agriculture teacher; Danielle Grant, elementary teacher; Colleen Boak, reading teacher and George Biffer, music teacher
Valerie Haas was appointed as a special education teacher effective. Also, Zayne Frysinger was appointed as secondary social studies teacher.
The board approved Jade Varney and Dorinda Hardy as library media specialists.
Diana Fitzwilliam was appointed by the BOE as a reading teacher.
Jenna Fiacco was appointed as a long-term business teacher sub and Connor Prosper was appointed as a long-term technology teacher sub.
All appointments are effective Sept. 1.
