State police say Daniel N. Valyou, 50, was ticketed after backing out of a driveway at approximately 9:36 a.m. on April 23, at which time he failed to yield the right of way and struck a 2017 Seaway Valley ambulance.
The ambulance, operated by Heidi N. Perez, 41, of Norwood, did not have any patients on board at the time.
No one was reported injured in the accident, police say.
Valyou was issued two vehicle and traffic tickets for unsafe backing and failure to yield the right of way, police say.
