LAWRENCE -- A North Lawrence man was stabbed by his wife during a domestic dispute Sunday, Massena-based state police said.
Melissa A. Francis, 42, of North Lawrence, was charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor.
Troopers charged Francis following investigation into domestic dispute involving a North Lawrence man was transported to Massena Memorial Hospital for a stab wound in his upper thigh.
Troopers say Francis stabbed her husband with a paring knife.
She was arraigned and jailed on $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
